Fall Fever

Hello dear readers! I know it has been a long time since I have posted something. I have been getting ready for school all week. Which in my opinion is not much fun at all. It is pretty pressured. Mostly because I haven't even started my summer reading book even though I read 3-5 books a week. Yup, I know pretty sad right? But none the less I still have a good five days to read something off of that list.

I can't describe my feelings for beginning school again. It feels like it has been only a week and yet it feels like it has been forever. (That's a paradox mate) so I guess I have just been a little melancholy. But I am sure that nobody wants to hear about my suffering so I will switch to a happier thought.

I don't know if anyone noticed, but I newly designed my blog. Alas I have caught fall fever. Now the symptoms of this sickness may include:

*Chills
*baking like a mad man
*watching the trees
*smelling the trees
*watching movies that just so happen to be set in fall
*listening to jazz music
* completely redesigning your blog

So yes, call me crazy, but I have also been urging the trees to change color. Not that it has worked, but I am going insane! But hey at least this dream is possible. In the middle of July I actually had a very strange powerful yearning for winter. Which could never have been made a reality. I suppose that dreaming about fall is actually tolerable when it is the middle of August right?

Well this is the part where I give you the cure for fall fever right? Wrong. Know why? Because apparently there is no cure. Well besides of course fall itself. So if any of you dear readers have come upon this strange sensation I give you my sincere concern and urge you to kick back, relax, and make yourself a cup of steaming cocoa and turn on some jazz. Unless you don't like cocoa. Then just kick back, relax, and turn on the music. Trust me, it makes you feel better.

And remember, nothing is impossible. In fact, this morning I saw some orange leaves up on the mountain. And tomorrow I might just see a few more.

  1. So "Call me crazy" ... that part made me laugh, but that's just me and my head that catches a tune every five seconds.

    I don't have fall fever, but I sure do have back-to-school fever, now that my schedule is amazing! I hope you have fun in school, and with your summer reading list. Funny, I don't have a summer reading list. High school is lame ...

    Enjoy your hot cocoa,

    ~Patricia
