I spring cleaned my blog! Looks much cleaner right?! Currently I am very very very obsessed with books. Actually I already was, but now I like them even more if that was possible in the first place. (by the way N. I didn't do it just to copy you, because that would be lame and stupid and obnoxious, no my good man I just like books more) You guys should all feel so fortunate that I clean my blog for you because I'm sure my mom would really love for me to spring clean my room right now... But hey what is the internet for?!
By the way I made a very interesting discovery today as I was shopping for fabric for the first time. Ready? IT IS EXPENSIVE! Apparently it is cheaper these days to be lazy! And here I was thinking "Hey I think I will save some money by making a dress instead of buying it." Wrong o. Seriously though society is warped nowadays. Second item of business is that my description of the mall now has a name! After seeing the Hunger Games previously I decided that the mall is now the arena from the Hunger Games. And for my last item of business I am making a quilt tomorrow! That is what I am so excited for! I am going to make it with my grandma and bring it to girls camp! (anyone else extremely excited for girls camp?) Now to end this post a poem just because literature is awesome!
When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself
And see what that man has to say.
For it isn’t your father, or mother, or wife
Whose judgment upon you must pass
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.
He’s the fellow to please – never mind all the rest
For he’s with you, clear to the end
And you’ve passed your most difficult, dangerous test
If the man in the glass is your friend.
You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on the back as you pass
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you’ve cheated the man in the glass.
I love your blog makeover! :) Cute fabric. Hey, that's so funny, that poem you posted I just heard in a talk on Sunday at church. Happy Spring! :)
